Founded in 1987 as Saloria Drawing Services and incorporated as Saloria Architects Ltd in 1997, we are an established design-orientated practice based in North West London. Under the guidance of our Director our team works individually and collaboratively, sharing ideas and experience to deliver the best outcomes for our clients. Our hard work and dedication to the profession has been recognised locally and nationally in 2018: we received the sME UK Enterprise Award for Excellence in Architecture and the Finance Monthly M&A Award for Real Estate & Construction Advisory Firm of the Year.

Local residential work is an architect’s bread and butter, and we maintain an excellent record of success in our North West London base. We get a significant amount of repeat business and recommendation by word of mouth, which stands as testament to our dedication to professional quality. We take on Appeals with an excellent success rate, and we pride ourselves in resolving any enforcement matter that comes to us. Our team works proactively with Approved Inspectors to ensure every project that reaches construction phase passes Building Control with flying colours.

Lalji-Vekaria
Founder
Lalji P Vekaria Lalji founded the practice in 1987 and over three decades he has established a sustainable approach to the design of the built environment. He believes that the quality of our surroundings affects the quality of our lives and is driven by his passion for innovation and excellence. Lalji has been involved in a wide range of architectural, master planning and landscape projects, including public parks, urban regeneration schemes, schools, residential and mixed use developments, new settlements and city masterplans. He has international experience on projects in India, South Korea, Morocco and South Africa.
Vanessa Siani
Practice Assistant BA Arch
Vanessa is our Practice Manager with 15 years’ experience of business and office management, gained throughout a career in the events and health and safety industries. In addition to business administration, operational management and financial management, she is also experienced in project management, change and contract management and health & safety. Vanessa plays a key role in supporting the business by overseeing all aspects of our practice management needs – such as finance, corporate compliance, management systems, IT management and human resources. With a degree in IT management, Vanessa has a passion for promoting the health and well-being benefits of access to business.
Kinjal Mehta
Architectural Assistant
Kinjal did her BArch at the University of Mumbai, India and came to the UK in 2019 to pursue an MArch Architecture and Urbanism at the University of Hertfordshire. She joined Saloria Architects Ltd. in 2021 as an Architectural Assistant Part II. She is enthusiastic and always eager to learn new things. She accepts all the challenges that come her way and responds with a positive outcome. She is always keen to help fellow colleagues in the office, teaching new CAD and other software skills, as well as office processes. Kinjal is working hard to be a qualified architect, completing her Part 1 & 2 and now building her practice experience. In her free time, she loves to paint, and cook. She is known within the company for being our biggest foodie.
Aya Nasr
Architectural Assistant
Aya is a Part 1 Architectural Assistant at Saloria Architects Ltd., who graduated from the University of East London with a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture. She undertook work experience at an architecture firm whilst at secondary school. This gave her the opportunity to visit a construction site and broaden her knowledge of the architectural world and gain an understanding of how theoretical planning drawings become reality in the construction of the finished building.. Aya participated in an on-site internship project with, L-P Archaeology - this exciting project involved physical model making and educating the audience regarding what was happening on site during the excavation. Whilst at school Aya was involved in many STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) related activities. For example a team project with GSK (GlaxoSmithKline) to design a transportation system for equipment deliverance and being a runner up in “The Big Bang UK Young Scientists & Engineers Competition”. In her free time, Aya likes to sketch imaginative complexes – particularly, residential. Aya’s career ambition is to, one day, lead the design and construction of a residential complex that involves a lot of green space retention and careful consideration of local resources. While imaginative, it must be realistically possible.
Hina Makwana
Practice Assistant BA Arch
In addition to business development, digital marketing and social media activities, Hina provides support for our multi-disciplinary teams working across a variety of projects. She has considerable experience in graphic design, desktop publishing and illustration. Hina is passionate about exploring new ideas and creative approaches to graphic communication that delight our clients.
Paolo em lancerotto
Senior Architect Dip, Arch, RIBA, ARB
Paolo is an architect with over 27 years of experience in the UK and overseas. He joined Saloria Architects Ltd in 2014. He has worked at all scales from master planning to detailed design and construction. Paolo’s background in architecture, landscape architecture and urban design enables him to contribute in a multi-disciplinary way to innovative site planning and design solutions.
