Community Architects for London, the UK & Worldwide

Community architecture is a practice that is contributed to by involving the users in its design process and making them differentiate between their needs and aspirations. This process gives the users the authority to claim their environment around them, as they play a vital role in designing.

We, at Saloria, are committed in working alongside clients to collaboratively shape their built environment. We aim to enhance the culture, heritage and identity of a place by working with future and existing users.

We are sure that the genuine relationship formed between the design team and the clients are really critical to a successful result.

We believe that the early and detailed design process is an integral part of this relationship’s successful development, with the architect sharing each step of the journey to foster ownership of the scheme by all involved.

Our practice is fully registered with the ARB and our team includes RIBA Chartered Architects.

Experts in Complex & Strategic Development Projects in North West London, the UK & Worldwide

At Saloria Architects, we are proud to work with faith communities and cultural organisations to create meaningful and sensitive spaces for worship and community gathering. We combine traditional architectural principles with modern functionality while carefully navigating complex planning requirements.

We have successfully delivered several temple projects, including a challenging front extension in the green belt for the Oshwal Association UK. The design used a fully interlocked stone structure with no steel, as requested by the client, and was sensitively adapted to respond to the British climate while respecting the surrounding natural environment.

We are also working with the Slough Hindu Cultural Society on the renovation and vertical extension of an existing Hindu temple. The project includes traditional Shikhara spires, additional community facilities for cultural activities, and sustainable features such as roof-mounted solar panels. These schemes allow temples to better serve their communities while preserving their spiritual and cultural identity.
