Lalji Vekaria
Founder / Director, RIBA, ARB, FRSPH, FRSA
Lalji P Vekaria founded the practice in 1987 and over three decades he has established a sustainable approach to the design of the built environment.
He believes that the quality of our surroundings affects the quality of our lives and is driven by his passion for innovation and excellence.
Lalji has been involved in a wide range of architectural, master planning and landscape projects, including public parks, urban regeneration schemes, schools, residential and mixed use developments, new settlements and city masterplans.
He has international experience on projects in India, South Korea, Morocco and South Africa.
Vanessa Siani
Office Manager
Vanessa is our Office Manager with 15 years’ experience of business and office management, gained throughout a career in the events and health and safety industries.
In addition to business administration, operational management and financial management, she is also experienced in project management, change and contract management and health & safety.
Vanessa plays a key role in supporting the business by overseeing all aspects of our practice management needs – such as finance, corporate compliance, management systems, IT management and human resources.
With a degree in IT management, Vanessa has a passion for promoting the health and well-being benefits of access to business.
Kinjal Mehta
Architectural Assistant
Kinjal did her BArch at the University of Mumbai, India and came to the UK in 2019 to pursue an MArch Architecture and Urbanism at the University of Hertfordshire.
She joined Saloria Architects Ltd. in 2021 as an Architectural Assistant Part II. She is enthusiastic and always eager to learn new things. She accepts all the challenges that come her way and responds with a positive outcome.
She is always keen to help fellow colleagues in the office, teaching new CAD and other software skills, as well as office processes.
Kinjal is working hard to be a qualified architect, completing her Part 1 & 2 and now building her practice experience. In her free time, she loves to paint, and cook. She is known within the company for being our biggest foodie.
Zahraa Al-Subeiti
Architectural Assistant
Zahraa is a Part II Architectural Assistant who earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Westminster and her Masters from Kingston School of Art in 2022.
She has accumulated experience across RIBA Stages 1, 2, and 5 at various firms, working on large-scale residential and student accommodation projects at Allford Hall Monaghan Morris, as well as smaller interior design projects in her hometown of Beirut, Lebanon.
Zahraa has a keen interest in post-war architecture, having centred her university dissertations on Britain’s brutalist social housing and the architectural identity and historical perceptions of post-war Beirut.
Kaushal Padiya
Architect’s Assistant
Kaushal Padiya holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from IPSA Rajkot, India and a Masters in Material & Visual Culture from UCL (Anthropology).
He joined Saloria in 2023 and has over five years’ experience working on various projects involving Architecture and public space, academia, and community research in India.
He believes that a Human-centred design approach helps shaping meaningful and engaging built environment.
Ana-Maria Ciubuc
Architect’s Assistant
Ana-Maria is a Part 1 Architectural Assistant at Saloria Architects, who graduated from the University of Greenwich with a bachelor’s degree in architecture and landscape. Previous to that she finished a degree in Urban Planning and Landscape at the University of Bucharest, Romania.
She is a positive and motivated personality with teamworking skills that have been developed while studying at university and in the working environment.
Working at Saloria has provided her with a robust understanding of the theoretical design and construction methods. She enjoys assisting with day-to-day design activities, completing key elements of the construction and seeing projects through to completion.
paolo em lancerotto
Associate Director, RIBA, ARB
paolo is an architect with over 27 years of experience in the UK and overseas.
He joined Saloria Architects Ltd in 2014. He has worked at all scales from master planning to detailed design and construction.
paolo’s background in architecture, landscape architecture and urban design enables him to contribute in a multi-disciplinary way to innovative site planning and design solutions.
